This course is comprised of meeting experts, patients, hands-on bench work, and demonstrations. This summer course introduces the principles and scope of global health and health-related strategies which are important for a good understanding of health and disease in a global context. Topics discussed in this interdisciplinary course range from global health governance and policy, to the role of health systems, ethics and advocacy for research and development, to globalisation and climate change on health outcomes.
