What are good practices of artistic and practice-based research supervision? This week-long course explores the heterogeneous processes of PhD- and postdoc-supervision in the arts with the goal of formulating shared horizons. We have the ambition of consolidating our collective mappings into a constructive and inspiring toolkit for researchers, supervisors, and evaluators.
In this course the student is trained to perform post-mortem diagnostics based on protocols, and to formulate, based on this diagnosis, the pathogenesis, the etiology and significance of the pathological conclusion for contact animals. In this one day course participants will be introduced to informative hypotheses that are alternatives for the traditional null and alternative hypotheses, and, to the Bayes factor and GORIC which are alternatives for the p-value.
