Description

During this week in Italy you will explore Innovation from the point of view of the Branding and the Customer Experience. To reach this aim we will use the great opportunities given by the Italian lifestyle in the most innovative, very international and, at the same time, typical Italian city of Milan.

This week in Italy you will focus on new business models and high-end industry in (fashion and life-style) design and branding

During the pre-course (B27) you will pay attention to business models and financing models and the complete supply chain from the perspective of innovation and entrepreneurship in European Business. While these first two weeks the focus will be on production, logistics and inbound aspects, the Italian add-on will focus on the market-proposition, and will so 'close' the exploration of  business modelling.

The programme entails: lectures, workshops, excursions, experiential visits and groupwork.

If you decide to do all the three 3 weeks of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in European Business, you will have a complete overview and learning experiences about ideation, development, production and go to the market strategy.

"The Milan add-on was a great opportunity for us to apply business models learned in the first two weeks to the fashion industry in northern Italy. We also got to tour the factory that produces fabrics that are then used to produce coats for high-end brands including Dior and step into the Louis Vuitton shop to evaluate the customer service experience. Furthermore, the timetable left us sufficient time to explore the best of Milan on our own as we got the chance to go up the mighty Duomo, purchase authentic Italian produce at a local supermarket and wander the lovely streets of Brera district. Would highly recommend this add-on if you like hands-on learning and appreciate the chance to immerse yourself in Italian culture!"
