Smart Sustainable Cities

What does the city of the future look like? Since the beginning of the 21st century the majority of the world population have lived in urban areas. The Summer School Smart Sustainable Cities discusses how to boost the sustainable development of cities. In one week, we will dive into several highly relevant themes such as clean air, mobility, waste, energy, and also innovation, inclusiveness, participation and smart solutions to these issues.

Interprofessional Collaboration in Stroke Management

In this summer course you will work in interprofessional groups (e.g. medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology, physiotherapy, speech-language therapy, social work). You will start from your own profession and knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of the problems of patients after a stroke. Afterwards, you will learn how to prepare and participate in interprofessional discussions and rounds. During the course you will enlarge your knowledge about stroke and other professions. For this we use the ICF-system (International classification of functioning, disability and health). Before the start of the Summer School there will be up to 60 hours of preparatory assignments.
