Curious to know what the life of an ordinary Dutchman used to look like in the past? Join us to the Dutch living history museum and find out! This outdoor museum in the city of Arnhem is a unique day trip in which we will experience the culture of everyday life in the Netherlands during the last two centuries.

The museum contains the original buildings from several historical periods and places in the Netherlands. You can climb a windmill, enter traditional family houses, farms and old craft workshops. Here re-enactors will give you a demonstration of different crafts which were important for every day life long ago. For example, you will come across the wheelwright, blacksmith and the miller. You can also see how beer is brewed in the traditional way and try this!

In this park you will experience and enjoy all that is Dutch in one day. Stroll around the park, eat traditional Dutch poffertjes or try some Dutch liquorice (if you dare) and enjoy your one-day journey through Dutch life from past to present!
