Do you want to perfect your Dutch and communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a near-native speaker? Our advanced Dutch Language Level 7 course will help you express yourself more creatively and without effort in almost any situation. In a small class of up to 16 students with a qualified teacher you will advance quickly and expand your language skills up to level C1.
This course is ideal for learners who – after having passed the NT2 State Exam programme II and having completed Dutch Language Level 6 – would like to perfect their Dutch. We’ll use a variety of engaging exercises to expand your vocabulary and grammar, and to train your language skills. At the end of the course you’ll be a highly competent speaker, acquainted with the subtleties of Dutch culture and language.

- improve your presenting skills;
- feel more confident in discussions;
- become better at writing in Dutch;
- build advanced vocabulary;
- further improve your grammar.

This course corresponds with level C1, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR), and is suitable for learners who have reached CEFR level B2+.
A Dutch language proficiency test, consisting of multiple choice questions and writing assignments, must be completed in advance to determine your level. A teacher will assess your language skills, leading to a personal advice about the most appropriate Dutch course. Please keep in mind it can take up to 3 working days to assess your level.
Aim of the course
The course aims to help you express yourself more fluently and spontaneously, and to comprehend the subtle nuances in written and spoken Dutch at C1 level. After completing this course you’ll be able to:
- understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts;
- use more creative vocabulary and grammar;
- express ideas without effort;
- adapt your vocabulary, tone and syntax to formal (professional, academic) and informal (social) situations.
