Do you want to perfect your English and communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a near-native speaker? Do you need to achieve the level of English that’s needed to study or work in a senior professional or academic environment, for example on a postgraduate or PhD programme? Our Cambridge English Proficiency C2 course will help you express yourself creatively and effortlessly in almost any situation. By the end of the course, you’ll be a highly competent speaker of English. 

This is our highest-level course. During the course, you can expect extensive interactive exercises such as roleplays and group discussions, in addition to vocabulary and grammar work, and self-study. In small classes of up to 16 students there’s plenty of room to ask questions and delve into complex topics. Your teacher will monitor your spoken and written progress and provide you with useful feedback and advice on how to further perfect your English. 

This advanced course will help you: 

  • further expand your vocabulary;
  • have conversations at a near-native level; 
  • read and comprehend complex texts; 
  • acquire smart learning strategies;
  • perfect your pronunciation;
  • further improve your grammar;
  • improve your listening skills;
  • improve your writing skills;

Target audience

This course corresponds with level C2, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR), and is suitable for students who have reached CEFR level C1+.

An English language proficiency test, consisting of multiple choice questions and writing assignments, must be completed in advance to determine your level. A teacher will assess your language skills and give  personal advice about the most appropriate English course. Please keep in mind it can take up to 5 working days to assess your level.

Aim of the course

This course aims to perfect your English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and help you acquire smart self-study strategies. The course aim is to reach level C2.
