Do you want to perfect your English and communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a near-native speaker? Do you need to achieve the level of English required to study or work in a senior professional or academic environment, for example on a postgraduate or PhD programme? Our Cambridge English Proficiency C2 course trains you to become a highly competent speaker of English. You’ll become acquainted with the subtleties of English language, effortlessly adapting your vocabulary and syntax to formal and informal situations.

During this high-level course, we will work intensively on perfecting your spoken and written English. In small classes of up to 16 students, you’ll participate in discussions on complex topics, practise your presenting skills and write in-depth texts. We’ll also focus on enhancing your vocabulary and  reviewing more complex grammar structures. An experienced teacher will monitor your progress and provide you with feedback and advice on how to further improve your English.

Aim of the course

This course aims to further improve your English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and help you acquire smart self-study strategies. The course aim is to reach level C2.

Study load

This course corresponds with level C2, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR), and is suitable for students who have reached level C1.

An English language proficiency test, consisting of multiple choice questions and writing assignments, must be completed in advance to determine your level. A teacher will assess your language skills and give personal advice about the most appropriate English course. Please keep in mind it can take up to 5 working days to assess your level.
